Week 6: Ms. Cassidy's Classroom
When you take a look at Miss Cassidy's Classroom blog, it is exactly what you expect it to be. You get a glimpse of what a bunch of six year olds do on a day to day basis at school. However, it is not just Miss Cassidy going on and on about what she did for that day. It is WAY better than that. Miss Cassidy posts videos and pictures of her students so you can get a live look into the classroom.
On the sidebar of the blog, each student has their own sub-blog where they can post projects or pictures of their work. For example, one student named Aaron has a sub blog with just pictures of his work. Another student, Ava, said that she wanted "to learn math, spelling, and reading". By giving her students a change to do their own blogging, Ms. Cassidy is introducing a way for her students to use technology to their advantage.

Recently, Ms. Cassidy posted lots of pictures of her students finding lady bugs and creating a lady bug terrarium. The students used magnifying glasses to take a closer look at these spotty bugs. She also posted a video of Andy the Musical Scientist, who came to visit the school recently. You can see a video of what he does here.
